Benjamin Saunders is Director of Music for the Diocese of Leeds which includes the extensive choral programme at Leeds Cathedral. From January 2021 he is leading the National Schools Singing Programme across the UK.

He has also directed chamber choirs at a number of universities and conservatoires, most recently the chamber choir at Leeds College of Music. In 2015 he was visiting Professor at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana in the Department of Music working with the Notre Dame Children’s Choir.
